2009 Cost Comparisons

The COSTSHARE REPORTSM is produced annually by HealthMetrix Research.  All comparisons are based on the current Medicare health plan benefits (effective January 1, 2009) approved by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  All plans shown include the Medicare prescription drug plan benefits (Part D).

COSTSHARE comparisons are estimates of the annual out-of-pocket costs for Medicare health plan enrollees based on projected health status examples -- GOOD, FAIR, or POOR health.
